Day 1 - My View Today

Pretty boring huh?  That's how I felt about my day.  I woke up way before dawn to get a jump start on work.  Took Oakley to the vet before the kids even left for school.  Got the babies to school.  Headed towards downtown and picked my sister up on the way.  Sat in traffic for far too long that never produced a reason for the traffic.  Got to the courthouse late (thanks to the traffic of course) and drove forever to find a parking spot.  Too bad it was on the very top level but we did receive some non-threatening cat-calls from the Dallas prison building just next door.  Then stood in the longest line I've ever seen at the courthouse just to go through security.  Found out we were at the wrong court building.  Headed over to the Dallas Federal courthouse.  Attempted to find decent parking; we didn't.  Walk half a mile to the courthouse and find out the courtroom is full.  So we left.  Drove around downtown to surprise Momma at work.  Breanne and I are directionally challenged and we made it to Mom's work without having to call her.  Mom doesn't like calls from frustrated, lost soles from her 2 daughter's in downtown.  We know this from experience.  Okay, experiences.  Had lunch with Mom.  Drove B home.  Worked for a few hours.  Drove to get Oakley picked up.  Ran the afternoon carpool.  Took Cameron to baseball practice and sat in the parking lot for over an hour. Took kids to Mom's for dinner.  These kids expect dinner after driving around for hours.  No deal!  And then drove us all home.  That was far too much driving for my likes.
