"Daddy" by Courtnie Gautreaux

At the kids' school, the second graders had a poetry program last night. They sang two creative and energetic poetry songs and read poems aloud. They read some that other famous poets had written and some were their very own. Three children from each class were chosen to read their poems aloud and Courtnie was one of them. Her poem was about her Daddy, so sweet!
